These “hacks” are just some simple things to improve your productivity or organization. I have used all of these things before and I will rate them on a scale from 1-10. Most of these ideas are from Pinterest or other friends who have told me all about the great things that they have made a part of their lives and want to share with other users.
I would rate this one about a 3, useful in summer but not the best.
This one is handy for cooking instead of getting your counter, or spoon holder dirty. Just make sure it isn’t a plastic spoon or if the pot handles get to warm it may melt. I’d rate this one a 5.
I would rate this one a 6 it’s useful but clothes get a bit more wrinkled.
This one is really useful and i use it whenever I find a bread tie, I would rate this a 8.
Make sure and wash out the bottle really well. I’d rate this one a 7.
I’d rate this a 10, I use it for headphones and random cables all the time.
It’s still makes some noise, but not nearly as much as drying them by themselves 5.
This one only works with water jugs, do not use milk jugs they won’t work. 3.
This is a genius idea! I burn easily and would rate this a 10.
Paint the inside of your rings with clear nail polish so they won’t turn your fingers green!
Make sure you re-paint the inside after it wears off. I would rate this a 8.
Well, here it is! 10 things to help you out doing, well, whatever you want with your life. Come back and check out the rest of my posts on cleoxero if you enjoyed my life hack segment.
Ok, so I’m pretty skeptical on Pinterest facials but this one is organic vegan and gluten-free 😉 and it works great! This face mask will decrease the amount of blackheads on your nose and under your eyes (don’t get it in your eye though, it hurts like the dickens!) this concoction will practically eliminate blackheads, therefore diminishing acne! Here’s what you need.
1 half of a lemon.
However much honey you want. (I only used 5-6 drops)
A wet washcloth to wash off the mixture.
Here’s how you do it.
First cut a lemon in half (duh). Next squeeze the lemon a little over the sink to get the juice on the top. After that squirt some honey on the lemon half, then you can either use the lemon as a sponge and scrub your face or you can apply it to your nose, or anywhere else that needs it. Let it sit for about 5 min. Repeat this whenever you feel like your blackheads are coming back, works like a charm.

So… It’s that time again. The time of year where the yearly tea war starts. The British like it hot. We Americans like it cold. So.. which is the most popular way to have your tea? Iced, or hot? Iced tea is my personal favorite, but hot tea is good to warm ya up during winter. Hot tea is served as a meal in Britain as afternoon tea (who didn’t know the British were known for afternoon tea, its in all of the BBC shows!)
Which kind is your favorite? vote below!
There are many kinds of tea; green tea, purple tea, pink tea, (just kidding everyone knows tea is striped with yellow polka dots!) 🙂 orange leaf tea, raspberry tea, strawberry melon, pomegranate tea, mango tea… Hot tea is just hot leaf juice, cold tea, therefore is just cold leaf juice. Tea is made by crushing up good smelling (and tasting) nature. So the next time you swallow a chunk in your snapple don’t just spit it out it’s just crushed up nature! Who knew that leaf juice could be so tasty?
Tea is loved worldwide, and even if we can’t decide on which kind is the best in the world, we all know this one simple thing.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. (unknown)
What does this simple statement tell us about life, when someone tells you to quit playing around, to grow up, or be mature? It means that no matter how old you are, age doesn’t matter. Confusing? good! this way I’ll have to explain myself.
When making a change from a young adult (don’t worry I’m not giving a puberty talk here) to a teenager many parents tell their kids to quit acting like a kid, but what they don’t remember, is what it is like to be a kid. If that person, (were gonna name her Joanna so i don’t keep saying “that person”) acted like a teenager rather than a kid,and wasn’t fully mature enough to start acting like a responsible teen Joanna would then instead take what she saw from TV and social media to research, without knowing what it’s like to be a “normal” teen. Her parents would then tell her to act her age, which she is trying to do, and punish her for not growing up like they told her to. Then, after she is thoroughly confused and angry because she doesn’t know who to be if the media isn’t telling her who to be, and if her parents aren’t telling her who to be she might as well rebel and be who she thinks she is. This will end with her getting sick of the green hair, parties, and leather jackets. After that stage Joanna is now a young adult. She is free from her parents rule and can do anything she wants to and be anything she wants to, right? Wrong, Jo will now, according to the social norm be either ridiculed for not going to college or forced to get a job. Jo’s job, or college she choses will depict who she is and when she chooses she will be labeled for life. So what does Jo chose? Remember she is the rebel kid that got told to grow up all of the time. So of course she choses to go into the military instead! She is drilled in boot camp, the sergeant yells and shapes her platoon into the soldiers he needs, and that is when she is brave enough to become herself, her own person. With all of the orders going on and all of the manual labor (more…)
Have you ever wanted to go to a party or social event couldn’t find the right anything to wear? If you have, you’re not alone! Sometimes it’s tempting to not even go to that wedding, party, friendly outing etc… but, here are some helpful tips to get you through your clothing crisis!
1.DO NOT WEAR PLAID! It makes everyone around you feel on edge and there is no possible way to match it with anything other than jeans. Don’t even get me started on finding accessories to match!
2. Try and find some sort of theme to your outfit. Don’t just throw some diamond jewelry on, or cubic zirconia if you’re broke, and a T-shirt.
3. Don’t be repetitive. Try and switch-up your style just a little bit, nothing drastic like getting a liberty mohawk, but just subtle changes like painting your nails a different color, or changing your earrings. (more…)
So, have you seen the trendy new fashion lately! Friendship bracelets! they are actually not as hard to make as they look thanks to Beyond Bracelets tutorials: http:/http://www.beyondbracelets.net/. I have been using them for quite a long time now, I find it entertaining when I’m watching TV instead of turning on my phone (or eating my family out of house and home) that when my hands are busy making a cute new bracelet I tend not to be as fidgety. Great for ADHD kids, or those of us who drink too much caffeine 😉
This is the first post I have made on the first blog I have ever done. I created this blog to do how to tutorials and funny stories and just random updates of things I would like to share. I don’t quite know the layout or how things work yet so this is going to be messy! (who doesn’t like a little mess every now and then). Well.. here it goes, I’m posting my very first text on my first blog. Enjoy!
